Vacation Bible School at River Vale Community Church is a week-long, FREE! camp-like, community-focused event open to area Preschool-5th grade youth running 9:30 am-Noon daily, June 22-26. 

A typical day begins with an opening assembly with campers being divided up by age groups (crews).  

The opening assembly is a large group setting and a fun time to learn the day's theme, supported by skits, songs and often times filled with surprise characters!

Crew leaders take K-5th grade-level groups and rotate them station to station. Stations include: games and activities, bible story time, snack time, arts and crafts and an imagination station science-themed activity before returning to the large group closing session. 

Preschoolers have one main area and their rotation is less frequent due to their age/needs (preschool can only be offered this year based on leader availability and is subject to cancellation). 

Our goal is to maintain a leader/camper ratio of 1:3 and for a nurse to be on-site at all times.
